Installation/Update

The ICS platform provides a simple package manager yasipm to install and update ICS or other applications build on the platform.

Installation Standard Layout

Windows

The following filesystem layout will be used on Windows

C:\Program Files\ics\config - contains the ics configuration file(s)
C:\Program Files\ics\bin - contains the binaries
C:\Program Files\ics\certs - contains the server certificates
C:\ProgramData\ics\log - contains the log files
C:\srv\www\htdocs\default - contains the html documents
C:\srv\www\htdocs\icons - contains the icons (required for static-templates)
C:\srv\www\htdocs\static-templates - contains the error and directory listing templates
C:\srv\www\htdocs\manual - contains the ics manual

Linux

The following filesystem layout will be used on Linux

/etc/ics - contains the ics configuration file(s)
/etc/ics/certs - contains the server certificates
/usr/lib/ics - contains the binaries
/var/log/ics - contains the log files
/srv/www/htdocs/default - contains the html documents
/srv/www/htdocs/icons - contains the icons (required for static-templates)
/srv/www/htdocs/static-templates - contains the error and directory listing templates
/srv/www/htdocs/manual - contains the ics manual
/var/run/yasi - contains the memory pipe
